Madison Eye Care Center aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a good-faith target for this website. This is a target we work toward continuously, not a certification or a claim of full conformance.

• A "Skip to main content" link as the first item for keyboard users.
• Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a single, ordered heading structure on each page.
• Visible focus outlines on every link, button and form control, and full keyboard operation.
• Form fields with real labels, clear required-field errors announced to screen readers, and errors described in text rather than colour alone.
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling at 400% zoom and on small screens.
• Reduced-motion support: animations and transitions are suppressed when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Optional third-party embeds (map, virtual assistant) are off until you allow them, with a text address and phone number always available instead.

• The Google Maps directions panel and the ElevenLabs virtual assistant are third-party components. We do not control their accessibility. If either is difficult to use, our address, hours and phone number are published in plain text on the Contact page and in the footer, and our staff will give directions or answer questions by phone.
• We have not published third-party audit results, and testing to date has been internal.
